Returns & Exchanges

1a. No refunds. Exchange or in-store credits for weaving & braiding human hair only. All others are not returnable. In-store credits are good for 1 year from the date we receive the merchandise. Please keep your receipts and return the merchandise in its original condition. The hair must be in the original packaged state with the band intact. For mail orders, please return the item(s) within 15 days from the date of the invoice. For in-store purchases, please return the item(s) within 10 days. All exchanges are subject to 7% re-stocking fee.

1b. Delays on your packages. Weather related delays on your packages are not guaranteed by any of our carriers or by His & Her Hair.

1c. No shipping charge refund. All shipping charge credits received from UPS, Post Office, and Fedex will be given as in-store credits only. No Refunds.

2. In the event the package is delayed, since His & Her Hair pays for the shipping cost on orders that qualify for the Free Ground Shipping, the shipping costs will not be credited. If you received $7.00 credit on other shipping options such as Overnight delivery, 2nd day, and 3rd day, only the difference will be given as a store credit on delayed delivery. The Free Ground Shipping and the shipping credit are good for new purchases only. ***New Policy*****
Due to UPS's recent cost increases and changes with their polices, UPS will begin charging return fees. That is, if you place an order from His & Her Hair but do not accept the package or cancel the package en-route, then UPS will charge additional fees to return the package back to us. Subsequently, this fee will be charged to the customer's account.

Therefore, we ask our customers to verify and double check your orders before submitting.


3. If you wish to send back the merchandise for an exchange by mail, please take the package to a local post office or UPS office and return the package to the address shown. Customers are responsible for shipping charges. Please call 1-800-421-4417 and our representative will guide you in making the exchange. Please send a copy of the receipt when returning. If you don't' have your receipt, please write your name, phone number, and address on a slip along with your account number.

3. To receive your new item, we must receive your merchandise first before we can send out the exchange.

4. Please examine the merchandise when you receive your package. For the WET & WAVE hair such as the French Refined and the European Wave, you may test the curl by wetting a small portion (do not wet the entire hair). Place the hair on a desk, pull a small portion away from the rest (do not cut the portion), spray some water, and let it soak for about 15 seconds. Hold the top of the hair while it is on the desk and gently brush the wet portion from the bottom and watch it wave. Towel dry and scrunch it to wave up more.

5. For customers who are returning the Water Wave and Zig Zag Curl/Wave, please do not finger comb or brush the hair. This will make the hair frizzy & out of shape. We will not accept a return if it has been brush out or finger combed.
